AboitizLand completes LIMA township

ABOITIZLAND, Inc. said it has completed its P7-billion fully-integrated estate LIMA township in Batangas.

“The south’s economic boom encouraged us to develop LIMA. This is the next big thing, creating a complete experience where residents can work, live, and play in one spot. Batangas is a swiftly-growing province and we want to invest in a location that can offer an elevated lifestyle,” David L. Rafael, president and chief executive officer of AboitizLand, said in a statement.

The Cebu-based property developer said that the 607-hectare township has more than 80 businesses in the industrial sector, over 60 retailers in commercial spaces, and three enclaves of its residential community.

Residential community The Villages at Lipa has 1,350 houses on a 49-hectare property. It has two communities — Brook, which offers 50-square meter (sq.m.) units, and 100-sq.m. single attached units; and Sierra, which features 115 sq.m. units, 132 sq.m. single attached units, and 150 sq.m. single detached units.

LIMA also hosts the 533-hectare LIMA Industrial Park, and outlet mall called The Outlets at Lipa. LIMA Exchange, which will have a department store, supermarket, drugstore, and more retail stores, will soon open.

AboitizLand expects business process outsourcing (BPO) firms, dormitories, schools, hospitals, and churches to be added in the township.

The LIMA township is an hour away from business districts Alabang and Makati, and can be accessed through South Luzon Expressway (SLEX), Southern Tagalog Arterial Road (STAR) Tollway, and Batangas Port.
